Using a SWOT analysis
A SWOT analysis stands for Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunity and Threat Analysis. This is a frank assessment of your personal capabilities and looking from both an internal perspective and an external perspective.
It starts with looking internally at your strengths, what can you do really well, for example can you drive a forklift? Can you remember lots of client details easily? This is the internal viewpoint, then place an external viewpoint on the process, can everyone in the role drive a forklift? Is this a real strength or core job requirement?
